If you want to get legally married in Ireland, whether it be through a religious or civil ceremony, you must make sure that the ceremony is performed by a registered solemnizer or a humanist. The ceremony can only take place at a location with a postal address or an identifiable landmark that is open to the public. It cannot be held in a random field or on private property.
You will also need two people who are over 18 years old to be your witnesses. For example, your photographer can be one witness and your videographer can be the other witness. However, this is only if you are eloping without any guests. You must also give notice of at least 3 months before the ceremony and apply for a marriage visa.
